Fix The Toaster

If the toaster killed 30,000 American annually we'd all say Fix The Toaster! Car crashes are mostly preventable, we need to fix these horrible statistics.

Fix The Toaster Blog

A site dedicated to bringing conversation to road safety. Car crashes are mostly preventable. They are not accidents. We need to be changing the way we think about them.

Go Moms from Hartland Township

November 06, 2013 in Uncategorized

I just Googled "Moms for road safety" because I feel like road safety is flying under the radar so I look for what smaller news stories pop up. Love the title of this news story:

"Moms urging improved traffic safety on M-59" According to the Livingston Daily, the paper where I found the article:

When it comes to traffic safety, Hartland Township officials decided it’s best to listen to mom — 1,200 moms, in fact.

Hartland Moms, a group of Facebook friends, is pushing for safety changes around the intersection of M-59 and U.S. 23.

This week, township officials pledged to do what they can to increase signs and, possibly, roadway lighting in the area to make it less hazardous.

You go ladies.
