CicLAvia makes the streets safe for people to walk, skate, play and ride a bike. There are activities along the route. Shop owners and restaurants are encouraged to open their doors to people along the CicLAvia.
A chance to bike or walk from downtown LA to Venice, amazing.
It is going on right now! I wish I was there but I didn't learn of it until a few days ago and with three little guys I needed more prep time.
I'm seeing the photos of CicLAvia pop up on Instagram and it looks amazing.
Fix The Toaster is focused on lowering the amount of car crashes but I also am a huge fan of biking, walking and of course safe streets for doing these things.
